CHONGQING, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and eight injured after a truss collapsed in a factory in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, local authorities said Thursday.
The accident happened in a welding workshop of the Chongqing-based Changan Automobile around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Twelve people were hit by the truss that collapsed.
Two people died at the scene, two died in hospital, and eight others were injured.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
