MUMBAI, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Tuesday. Benchmark indices regained strength despite consistent rise in crude oil prices, backed by index heavyweights Reliance Industries, HDFC and ICICI Bank.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 34,616.64, 165.87 point or 0.48 percent up compared to its previous close at 34,450.77.
