SINGAPORE, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) wend up 0.06 percent or 2.01 points to close at 3570.02.
A total of 2.73 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.53 billion Singapore dollars (about 1.15 billion U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 244 to 180.
The STI index closed down 0.46 percent or 16.55 points to close at 3568.01 on Wednesday. Enditem
