DUBAI, April 28 (Xinhua) -- An early summer has hit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with temperatures rising up to 41 degrees Celsius during midday and in the afternoon, Gulf News reported on Saturday.

Heat levels usually seen as early as July in the Gulf state. UAE's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said that the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Fujairah will see afternoon maximum temperatures of 41 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday, up from 38°C to 39°C on Friday.

The climbing temperature as an unusual "desert heat" has hit the country in April, a month which marks the tourist high season in the UAE and which usually sees mercury above 30 degrees Celsius.
