MADRID, May 2 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 1.09 percent, or 108.30 points, to close at 10,088.90 points.
A total of 29 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.
Consultancy and technology company Indra A advanced 3.48 percent, being the top gainer of the day. Technology solutions provider Amadeus rose 3.36 percent and Spain's third-largest bank Caixabank was up 3.19 percent.
Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa lost 1.02 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Infrastructure company Acciona was down 0.32 percent and global operator of services and infrastructure Ferrovial went down 0.28 percent. Enditem
