BEIJING, May 10 (Xinhua) -- China Post Group Corporation aims to ensure all its new delivery vehicles are new energy vehicles by 2020 as part of efforts to make its services greener.

The state-owned postal service provider also aims for over 90 percent of its waybills to be digital waybills and for more than half of its packaging materials to be degradable by 2020.

The company has invested 100 billion yuan (15.71 billion U.S. dollars) to digitize its services and expand its delivery network.

The Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC), a subsidiary of the China Post, reported an outstanding balance of loans for environmental protection projects worth about 180 billion yuan as of the end of last year.

The PSBC aims to increase its loans for energy conservation and environmental protection projects and services by 50 percent in the next three years.
