MADRID, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares fell on Wednesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 0.95 percent or 96.60 points to 10,111 points.
A total of 22 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.
Spain's fifth largest bank Banco Sabadell lost 4.19 percent, the top loser of the day. Supermarket chain DIA went down 4.01 percent and airport operator AENA was down 3.73 percent.
Consultancy and technology company Indra A advanced 3.53 percent, followed by infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas and technology solutions provider Amadeus that rose 1.99 percent and 1.51 percent respectively. Enditem
