MADRID, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Chinese electronics firm Tronsmart on Friday confirmed FC Barcelona's Uruguayan international striker Luis Suarez as its new 'Ambassador.'
In a communique, the company explained that Suarez will be the "official spokesman" for the fast-growing brand for next year, and that they consider him to be the "perfect figure" due to the "values and motivations which both parties share."
Tronsmart said that Suarez is "very excited at forming part of the journey with Tronsmart and hope he will be the perfect motor to inspire both the fans of the player to also become fans of Tronsmart."
Suarez has scored 25 goals in this season's Liga Santander, helping Barcelona to a League and Cup double and he will form a key part of the Uruguay squad which will face host nation Russia, along with Saudi Arabia and Egypt in the group stage of this summer's World Cup finals.
