Palestinian president takes medical tests, third time in one week

RAMALLAH, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has been taken to a hospital in Ramallah for medical tests for the third time this week, said local press sources on Sunday.

According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, Abbas's test results came out very good and the 82-year-old president's health is in good condition.

Abbas had an ear surgery on Tuesday and left hospital on the same day. Then he headed to hospital on Friday for follow-up tests, according to WAFA.
