HONG KONG, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 186.44 points, or 0.60 percent, to 31,234.35 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 31,232.79 and 31,464.1. Turnover totaled 95.95 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 12.22 billion U.S. dollars).
