MADRID, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares dropped on Friday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down by 1.70 percent or 169.50 points to 9,826.50 points.
A total of 30 of the 35 large companies lost in the day.
Spain's third-largest bank Caixabank lost 3.77 percent, followed by energy company Gas Natural and infrastructure company Acciona that went down by 3.29 percent and 3.17 percent respectively.
Airline group IAG advanced by 2.23 percent, being the top gainer of the day. Technology solutions provider Amadeus rose by 0.87 percent and hotel chain Melia Hotels was up 0.17 percent. Enditem
