MACHAKOS, Kenya, May 28 (Xinhua) -- Piston Mutamba scored the winner for Kenya's Harambee Stars in their 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea on Monday to hand Frenchman Sebastien Migne his first victory with the side.

Mutamba struck the winner in the 73rd minute as Kenya atoned for Friday's 1-0 loss to Swaziland in their first friendly also played in Machakos, eastern Kenya.

The domestic premier league side Wazito FC forward was rewarded with his first start in the national side after his impressive cameo when he came on in the second half against Swaziland.

Mutamba repaid head coach Migne's faith when he produced the winner and gifted Stars their first international victory since March.

Migne will take his team to India to an invitational tournament and Kenya will face Ghana at home in September in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. Enditem
