JIANGMEN, China, June 5 (Xinhua) -- The United States continued its winning streak with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-18) victory over Russia in women's fourth-round action at the FIVB Volleyball Nations League here on Tuesday.

Team USA wasted no time to continue the incredible run of eight straight victories, and all in straight sets.

The reigning world champions never really looked troubled by their opponents and improved on an impressive run of form in this event, led by wing spiker Bartsch-Hackley, opposite spiker Andrea Drews and wing spiker Kimberly Hill.

Another encounter in the evening saw Tandara Caixeta got 19 points to lift Brazil over China 3-2 (19-25, 25-23, 27-25, 10-25, 16-14).

Apart from wing spiker Caixeta's heroic performance, middle blocker Adenizia Da Silva secured 14 points including seven blocks, and wing spiker Amanda Francisco added 13 points for Brazil.
