LONDON, June 5 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down 54.49 points or 0.70 percent at 7,686.80 points.
Antofagasta, the Chilean mining group, soared 2.67 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Burberry Group and Glencore rose by 2.39 percent and 1.79 percent, respectively.
