FRANKFURT, June 7 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 19.02 points, or 0.15 percent, to close at 12,811.05 points.
Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas lost 2.86 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by housing association Vonovia and material manufacturer Covestro, which lost 1.38 percent and 1.36 percent respectively.
Commerzbank gained 1.49 percent, the top gainer. Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel advanced 1.09 percent. European health care company Fresenius SE went up by 0.73 percent.
German multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer was the most traded share, with a turnover of 317.09 million euros (373.05 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
