BEIJING, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev, also presidential envoy to Russia's Far Eastern Federal District, on Friday in Beijing.

Hu said to strengthen China-Russia cooperation in Far Eastern development is a priority for the pragmatic cooperation between the two countries. He called on the two sides to link their development strategies, policies and projects to promote the cooperation to a new high.

Trutnev said Russia is willing to work with China to promote cooperation in Far Eastern development.
