Vietnam to play three friendlies in South Korea

HANOI, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's national football team is to train in South Korea from October 17 to 28, and play three friendly games there in preparation for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Championship.

The 2018 AFF Championship, also known as the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup, takes place between November 8 and December 15 across ten countries in Southeast Asia, said the Vietnam Football Federation on Sunday.

Group A consists of Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vietnam, while Group B comprises Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, defending champions Thailand, and the winner of a play-off match between Brunei and Timor-Leste.
