SINGAPORE, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) went down 0.32 percent or 11 points to close at 3,430.69.
A total of 1.69 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 967.8 million Singaporean dollars (about 725.84 million U.S. dollars). Losers out-numbered gainers by 227 to 155.
The STI index closed up 0.15 percent or 5.32 points to close at 3441.69 Monday.
