The first such forum was held in 2016 and the gathering was a great platform for dancing artists from Chinese communities across New York City, Kuang-Yu Fong, CTW executive & co-artistic director, told Xinhua.

Sophisticated Chinese American dancing artists will demonstrate the beauty of different dance forms such as Ballroom, Modern, Broadway Jazz and Chinese while sharing their understanding and instruction experiences of various dance arts, Kuang said.

They will discuss ways and means of helping Chinese community better integrate with other cultural groups through the arts of dance and the education of dance which cross barriers of language, culture and nationality, said Kuang, who moved to New York in 1983.

The forum will be supported by the New York Chinese Cultural Center (NYCCC), Broadway Dance Center and Cross Move Lab, a contemporary dance company.
