Zambia names provisional squad to face Burundi in Under-20 Africa Cup qualifier match

LUSAKA, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Zambia has named a provisional 28-member Under-20 squad that will face Burundi in the 2019 Niger Africa Cup of Nations final round qualifier.

Charles Bwale, the team's assistant coach, who unveiled the team on Wednesday, has included four foreign-based players.

According to a statement released by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), the team will go into residential camp on June 17, 2018 to start preparing for the qualifier matches to be played on July 14 and July 21 respectively.

The winner over two legs will qualify to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Zambia, the current champions, progressed to the last round of qualifiers after edging Rwanda.
