TORONTO, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Canadian's main stock market rose Thursday as material stocks climbed.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's benchmark Standard & Poor's/TSX Composite Index rose 63.14 points, or 0.39 percent, to close the day 16,328.96 points.
The materials sector rose 15.9 points.
The biggest gainer was Enbridge Inc, jumping 6.9 points.
CES Energy Solutions Corp soared 8.5 percent and Yamana Gold Inc jumped 5.6 percent while Fortuna Silver Mines Incrose 3.8 percent.
Prometic Life Sciences Inc dropped 6.1 percent and TransAlta Renewables Inc fell down 5.8 percent while Ivanhoe Mines Ltd declined 5.2 percent.
