KUNMING, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed when a helicopter crashed in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, authorities said.
The helicopter went missing at about 8:30 a.m. when it was on an emergency rescue mission to the People's Hospital of Anning City, according to officials with the No.1 People's Hospital of Kunming.
The wreckage of the helicopter was found in a quarry in Xishan District at around 1:42 p.m.. Three people on board were all killed.
An investigation is underway.
