SINGAPORE, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 0.68 percent, or 22.69 points, to close at 3,301.35.
A total of 2.02 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.51 billion Singapore dollars (about 1.11 billion U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 295 to 136.
The STI index closed down 0.97 percent, or 32.69 points, to close at 3,324.04 on Monday. Enditem
