ANKARA, June 21 (Xinhua) -- Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) fighters will leave northern Syria's Manbij region on July 4, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday.

During an interview with local CNNTurk, Cavusoglu said the roadmap for a solution in Manbij, which was agreed upon by the United States and Turkey early this month, is under full implementation.

On June 4, Turkey and the United States endorsed a crucial deal on Manbij issue, agreeing on the withdrawal of the YPG units from the northern Syrian city and stability in the region.

Turkey has long criticized the United States on supporting Syrian Kurdish militias, such as YPG, which is alleged by Ankara to have connection with outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK).
