VOLGOGRAD, June 25 (Xinhua) -- The last round of matches in World Cup Group A will be played under scorching sun and a heat wave on Monday as the local government has guaranteed to distribute free drinking water at the stadium.
The temperature could hit 35 degrees Celsius in Samara where hosts Russia will take on Uruguay with both sides already securing berths in the round of 16.
Egypt will play against Saudi Arabia in Volgograd where the local government is warning the temperature will be 37 degrees Celsius.
The Samara administrative government has promised to distribute free water along the route to the stadium and by the stadium entrances as well.
The Russia vs Uruguay game will determine who will finish first in Group A while Egypt and Saudi Arabia will fight for glory.
