JERUSALEM, June 27 (Xinhua) -- International security software company ESET and an Israeli company Bynet announced Wednesday to cooperate and offer a solution to protect businesses against ransomware attacks.
In this kind of attack, hackers penetrate business computers, encrypt information and files, and demand a ransom to release them. This can also cause loss of critical data.
The two companies will provide backup and protection packages for servers and end points.
They will use anti-virus and firewall products to prevent ransomware attacks, offering pre-backup of all data.
ESET, based in Slovakia, is the fourth largest security company in the world and is considered as the pioneer of anti-virus software, with more than 100 million user bases in more than 200 countries.
