JAKARTA, June 29 (Xinhua) -- An underwater drone has identified corpses and motorcycles along with suspected wreckage of a capsized boat, that left four people dead and 192 others missing, in a depth of about 490 meters of Lake Toba in western parts of Indonesia, a rescuer team's spokesman said Friday.

The KM Bangun boat was alleged to be overloaded and went down in waters of the lake situated in North Sumatra province on June 18.

"The device detected several things. There were corpses, there were motorcycles," a rescuer told Xinhua by phone.

The rescuers are making up plans to bring up the objects from the lake bed to the surface.

Only 18 of the people on board the boat were rescued, including captain Situa Sagala, who is now under police detention for query over the legality of the boat operation.

Taking a boat or ferry is a favorite way of transportation in Indonesia, but lack of compliance on safety standard has frequently triggered accidents.
