China has more than 365,000 lawyers

BEIJING, July 2 (Xinhua) -- The number of practicing lawyers in China surpassed 365,000 by the end of 2017, an increase of 11.5 percent, according to the All China Lawyers Association Monday.

The number of lawyers who are members of the Communist Party of China exceeded 117,000 by the end of 2017, up 18.2 percent, said the association.

Ninety-five Party organizations and 198 Party members from the sector of lawyers nationwide were honoured at a conference held by the association.

The association constitution was also revised at the conference.
