BERLIN, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Newly promoted Nuremberg have signed Bayern Munich talent Timothy Tillman on loan for one season, both Bundesliga clubs confirmed on Monday.
"We have of course closely followed Timothy's path in recent years. He is a very elegant player, technically gifted and equipped with a good overview," Nuremberg's sporting director Andreas Bornemann said.
Germany's Under-19 international made 31 appearances for Bayern's second team and provided six goals and seven assists.
"In 2008 I almost joined the club. It is very nice that it worked out now. I hope I can contribute my part to a successful year here," Tillman told the club's official homepage.
Nuremberg have sealed their eighth top-flight promotion, which is a Bundesliga record, after finishing on the second place of the Bundesliga 2 table last season.
