Gold price opens lower in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, July 3 (Xinhua) -- The gold price in Hong Kong went down 72 Hong Kong dollars to open at 11,640 dollars (about 1,482.80 U.S. dollars) per tael on Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
