ISLAMABAD -- At least four people were killed and 24 others injured when a blast hit a convoy of a political party leader in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday, local reports said.

SHIBERGHAN, Afghanistan -- More than 90 insurgents from both the Taliban and Islamic State (IS) group have been killed as clash erupted between the rival groups in the northern Jawzjan province, an army spokesman in the northern region, Mohammad Hanif Rezai, said Friday.
