MADRID, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares dropped on Monday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 0.18 percent or 17.90 points, to 9,716.90 points.
A total of 18 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.
Supermarket chain DIA lost 2.46 percent, being the top loser of the day. Airport operator AENA went down 1.61 percent and steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal was down 1.34 percent.
Telecommunication company Cellnex advanced 0.89 percent, followed by renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa and infrastructure company Acciona that rose 0.88 percent and 0.87 percent respectively. Enditem
