ANKARA, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Syrian Kurdish fighters withdrew from the check points in northwestern Manbij town in Syria, Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

"It's confirmed that the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) have entirely pulled out from the check points on the patrolling route," Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hami Aksoy said at a press conference.

But Ankara expects "fully end of presence" of the YPG in Manbij, Aksoy said.

Turkish and the U.S. soldiers have separately held patrolling missions around Manbij town since June 18 upon a deal between Ankara and Washington.

Turkey sees the YPG as Syrian offshoot of outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK).
