TEHRAN, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Irish footballer Anthony Stokes has signed a two-year contract with Iranian club Tractor Sazi of Tabriz.
Tractor Sazi, managed by former Wales and Real Madrid coach John Toshack, announced on Wednesday that they had agreed to sign ex-Rangers man Harry Forrester.
Two days on from that transfer, the Tabriz outfit signed former Celtic and Hibernian attacker Stokes.
The 29-year-old has played the majority of his football in Scotland, but spent the first half of 2018 with Greek side Apollon Smyrni.
Tractor Sazi finished last season in 10th place in Iran's top division.
