Hong Kong stocks close 0.90 pct higher

HONG KONG, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 258.33 points, or 0.90 percent, to 28,920.9 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,764.35 and 28,964.79. Turnover totaled 86.37 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 11.00 billion U.S. dollars).
