BERLIN, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Borussia Monchengladbach will be without new arrival Michael Lang who suffered a knee injury, the Bundesliga club announced on Wednesday.

The right back suffered a rupture of his lateral collateral ligament in his right knee and will be out of action for the time being.

Lang joined Monchengladbach in June after agreeing to a four-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.

It is another set back for the injury hit "Foals" as team captain Lars Stindl, Julio Villalba and Mamadou Doucoure are also sidelined with injuries.

Nevertheless, Dieter Hecking's men clash with Bayer Leverkusen to kick off their season on Aug. 25. Enditem
