LUSAKA, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's maiden trip to Zambia resulted in the two countries Saturday signing a dozen deals covering different sectors to boost bilateral cooperation.
The agreements were signed following talks held between Zambian President Edgar Lungu and Erdogan at State House, the presidential office.
They cover agriculture, stockbreeding, fisheries, tourism, investment, sports and diplomacy, according to a press release.
Erdogan was given a 21-gun salute and inspected a guard of honor at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in the capital.
