CHENGDU, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- A mudslide Thursday morning has disrupted the traffic along a rail line in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the China Railway Chengdu Group said.

The mudslide caused by continuous rain in Yuexi County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan, has buried a section of the Chengdu-Kunming rail line, causing suspension of several trains.

No trains were passing through when the mudslide happened.

Emergency workers are rushing to repair the line.
