ADDIS ABABA, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Wednesday.
-- Following the deployment of the federal forces, relative calm has returned in the city of Jigjiga, the capital of the Ethiopian Somali regional state, compared to the situation three and four days ago.
More federal forces were deployed in the regional state, including in Kebri Dehar, Degehabur. (FBC)
-- Ethiopian People's Patriotic Front Guard (EEPFG), a Frankfurt-based opposition group, has decided to return home for a peaceful political engagement in Ethiopia.
