RIYADH, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Saudi-led coalition launched on Friday an investigation into reports of the deadly airstrikes that hit a bus in the Yemeni province of Saada, Saudi Press Agency reported.
A senior official in the coalition said the probe came after media allegations about a military operation on Thursday by the coalition in Saada on a bus.
The coalition will, as it has always, exert all efforts to preserve civilians, he added.
The coalition announced on Thursday an airstrike that targeted Saada as a response to a deadly Houthi attack on the Saudi border city of Jazan.
