AMMAN, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- The death toll of security personnel in a raid on a terrorist cell in Jordan's west-central town of Salt has risen to four, the government said Sunday.

A person injured during the raid succumbed to his wounds on Sunday, said the government spokesman Jumana Ghunaimat in a statement.

A total of three bodies of suspected militants were pulled from the rubble of the building exploded when the security forces entered, added Ghunaimat, who is also the minister of State for Media Affairs.

The security operation is still going on, he noted.

The Royal Hashemite Court decided to fly the Jordanian flag at half mast in memory of the killed troops during the raid, as well as the killing of an officer by an explosive device on Friday in Fuheis, 20 km northwest of the capital Amman.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
