BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) Thursday unveiled 10 typical cases from the internet sector, including disputes over online loans, online shopping, and privacy and intellectual property rights.

These cases could offer experience for judgments in future cases, with the aim to avoid trade disputes, reduce trade risks, and better regulate people's behavior on the internet, the SPC said.

In one case, an online imported milk powder retailer was ordered to compensate a customer for failing to provide required certificates for imported products.

In another case, online air ticket seller qunar.com and China Eastern Airlines were ordered to take responsibility for giving away a customer's personal information.

The cases will also act as instructions to help the public protect their rights, the SPC said.
