OTTAWA, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Canada is sending five CF-18 Hornets to Romania to participate in NATO enhanced Air Policing from September to December 2018, according to the Canadian Defense Ministry on Thursday.
The mission is part of Operation REASSURANCE in Central and Eastern Europe. The Canadian Air Forces first deployed an air task force to Romania as part of Operation REASSURANCE from April to August 2014.
