BEIRUT, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- A Lebanese official said on Monday that 270,000 Lebanese people have lost their jobs after 384,000 Syrian refugees poured into the country's employment market, independent online newspaper Elnashra reported.

"Around 150,000 of those who lost their jobs used to work in the services sector," said Ola Boutros, advisor to the Foreign Affairs Minister in charge of the Syrian refugees' dossier.

"74 percent of Syrian refugees do not have legal residency permits," she noted.

After talks with his Lebanese counterpart Gebran Bassil in Moscow on Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Russia will help Lebanon deal with the return of Syrian refugees to their home country.

Notably, Russia has drafted a strategy for the Lebanese authorities to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees.
