CHICAGO, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) corn and soybeans traded lower on Wednesday morning over large U.S. crop prospects.

As of 1503 GMT, the most active December corn was down 3.75 cents at 3.705 dollars per bushel, and November soybeans were down 11.5 cents at 8.745 dollars, while December wheat was up 2.25 cents at 5.50 dollars per bushel.

Bargain buying reversed the downturn of CBOT wheat, which had posted sharp losses in the past two consecutive days.

As for CBOT corn, the ongoing Pro Farmer Crop Tour has reported above average yields in Indiana, Illinois and Nebraska, thus driving down the grain prices. Soybeans continued to slip lower on large crop prospects.

All eyes are now on the overall crop tour yield figures Thursday night, as well as trade talks in Washington between the United States and China. Enditem
