MADRID, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Wednesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.33 percent or 31.20 points, to a total of 9,580.20 points.
A total of 19 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.
Infrastructure company ACS advanced 2.34 percent, being the top gainer of the day. Infrastructure companies Tecnicas Reunidas and Acciona went up by 2 percent and 1.81 percent respectively.
Automotive company CIE Automotive lost 3.27 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Media company Mediaset went down by 1.41 percent and Spain's largest bank Banco Santander decreased by 1.08 percent. Enditem
