CHICAGO, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded mixed on Friday morning, with wheat futures falling as investors focus on weak demand of U.S. wheat and shrug off global production concerns.

As of 1450 GMT, the most active December corn was up 1.75 cents at 3.6275 dollars per bushel, and November soybeans were 4.75 cents higher at 8.5875 dollars, while December wheat was down 4.25 cents at 5.375 dollars per bushel.

Sales of U.S. wheat to overseas buyers last week missed expectations, dropping to the lowest level in six weeks, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Still, extremely dry weather in parts of the European Union, Russia, and Australia have curbed global output. Traders seem to be dismissing the weather concerns and they seem to be focused on the weak sales report.

Corn and soybeans have stabilized from this week's fund selling, as bargain hunters jumped into the agricultural futures market. Enditem
