BERLIN, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Fortuna Dusseldorf have signed Stuttgart defender Marcin Kaminski on loan, both Bundesliga clubs confirmed on Friday.
The 26-year-old center back has put pen to paper on a season long loan deal with newly promoted Dusseldorf and will stay until June 2019.
"We are very pleased that we have found with Marcin Kaminski an experienced center back. He knows the Bundesliga and will be an gain for our defense," Dusseldorf's head coach Friedhelm Funkel said.
Kaminski joined Stuttgart in the summer 2016 and provided one goal in 46 competitive appearances. Dusseldorf's new arrival plays since 2011 for Poland's national team and made five caps ever since.
"During the talks with those responsible I felt that they absolutely wanted to sign me. I would like to repay this trust in me and help the club to play a successful Bundesliga season," the Poland international told the club's official homepage.
Fortuna Dusseldorf will encounter Augsburg for their season opener on Saturday. Enditem
