JAKARTA, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Two-time Olympic and world champion Shi Tingmao confirmed her reputation in the women's 3m springboard by taking the Asian Games title for her 27th birthday gift here on Saturday.
Shi, who turned 27 on Aug. 31, led from the start by taking the gold with a total of 389.40 points. It was her second title at the Games after she won the synchro event with Chang Yani.
Wang Han, winner in 1m springboard, came to second in 383.40 and Sabri Nur Dhabitah of Malaysia finished third in 330.75.
China has been taking the 1-2 finish in the women's 3m springboard since the 12th Asian Games in 1974.
