MADIRD, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona beat newly promoted Huesca 8-2 in the Camp Nou Stadium on Sunday to go into the international break as the leaders of the Liga Santander.
Barca took control of the game after a difficult first 20 minutes and in the second half ran riot as their rivals ran out of steam.
Huesca travelled to the Camp Nou after winning in Eibar and drawing away to Athletic Club and showed from the start they were not intimidated by the Camp Nou.
The visitors needed just two minutes to take the lead with Samuele Longo nodding down a cross for Juan Camilo Hernandez to turn past Ter Stegen.
Barca were level after 15 minutes with Leo Messi producing the sort of control run and shot that many take for granted to bet Werner with a right foot shot.
